I remember the first time the eldest wrote her name. We were in church and she pulled an envelope out of the pew rack. A few minutes later she showed it to me. When I whispered "Where did you copy it from?" she said "Nowhere, I remembered." I wanted to shout, but we were in church!
SO CUTE! My 5 yr old just got his name down and it makes my heart burst with pride when he walks into preschool, sits down and grabs his pencil, and spits that "DERRICK" out onto paper! Especially since he rebelled at first because he wanted to write his nickname RICKY. That was a funny struggle between him and his teachers!
These new accomplishments sure make our day, huh?!
