What I thought was my period turned out to be just a quick episode of spotting.
Light positives on the pregnancy test... spotting... this is what happened during my ectopic.
I'm gonna go ahead and call the nurse now.

Don't panic...relax and go with the flow. Well i wouldn't probably do that but that is my story and i'm sticking to it! It could be nothing...or something...hopefully the doc was just wrong....i have known numerous people to have spotting/bleeding through some/much of pregnancy and everything was fine!
Have you talked to nurse or dr yet?
