Duped!

If you saw a book called Roadside America, subtitled 365 Days, and on the cover is featured a Mel's Diner kind of place and a few maps on the spine, what kind of book do you think that is?

Well, if you think that it's a book about roadside attractions in America that would be great for your friend Rob whose birthday is coming up and since he LOVES road trips and hey it's only 5 bucks lemme grab it... you would be wrong.

Yes, Rob's birthday is coming up. Yes, he loves road trips, as much as politicians love lying. Yes, it was only 5 bucks. Yes, I grabbed it.

It's actually a book about vintage cars. Each day, a different vintage car (and a few random ones from the last 10 years thrown in) photographed at a different location - nothing about the location or a map of the location - just a foxy car at the location. Sigh. Don't judge a book by its cover, indeed.

I can only recoup about $2 if I sell it on Amazon, and I don't know anyone who would be interested in such a book. *Siiiiigggghhhhhh*
