This morning's observations:
1. Axe and Tag deodorant body spray commercials make me SO VERY ANGRY. Their premise is that women will turn into complete self-loathing morons upon one whiff of this magic elixir. Shut up. You know you just smell like a total mook and we roll our eyes at you - that is, when our eyes aren't bugging out of our heads because we're gagging at how much deodorant body spray you've applied. Don't insult us by pretending our gagging is attraction to your greasy, gold medallion wearing, Eclipse-driving, Beast-drinking, System-of-a-Down-listening self. Take a shower, you won't need deodorant body spray.
2. If you're 45, the Gwen-Stefani-pink-hair-highlight doesn't work for you. Especially if you're going on Judge Judy. Let the gray come out, sister. If you can't handle the gray, hook up the brown or blonde or red or something. Not pink, lady.
3. System of a Down? Time to retire. Stop screaming. Especially stop squeaking. Y'all are such posers.
A recommendation I need this morning:
Does anyone know of a Christian magazine that doesn't suck up to the GOP? Seriously, can we just stick to the faith issues here? I can't stand Dubya, but I love Jesus, and those two just don't work together in the American mainstream. I need a good uplifting magazine. Anybody got any ideas?

Sojourners? (http://www.sojo.net/) I don't know much about it, but I think it is a Christian magazine that isn't so politically conservative.
Sojourners if very socialist/leftist. Something conservative in the old school, pre WWII sense, not the neo-con sense, might be better.
i wanna know about the car. tell tell
1) I saw the Axe ad with the cups next to the bed on the subway the other day-- it's so vulgar! If I had kids, I'd complain. Not that they'd know what it means, but it's the fact of the matter.
2) Have you tried Christianity Today?
Love,
Cousin Veronica
P.S.-- Three comments in one day-- booyah!
Nope, don't know much about Christian magazines, but you might enjoy an article I just wrote on religious liberals and the comments posted. Obviously a lot of good Christians are tired of the GOP. One has even invited me to create a dialogue. I'm thinking about running with it.
You can find the article at my site or at Raw Story. http://www.rawstory.com/exclusives/religious_liberals_042305.htm
By the way, that's http://www.rawstory.com/exclusives/religious_liberals_042305.htm
And the comments are only found at Raw Story.
No, I shall diss System of a Down. I loved their last album, and love the fact that they want to change the world, but they could at least start with good music. The song they have out right now is pure drivel. It's not worthy of them.
