whoa!

In my former life as a temp, nearly every assignment earned me another job offer. People were constantly begging me to come work for them. Excuse me while I pat my own back here... Ahhh, sometimes it's nice to look back and remember doing something I knew I was really good at doing. Whoa, I'm digressing.

Anyway, one of the places was a law office in downtown Jackson. Their secretary was out for the week, but they were ready to fire her for me. Yeah, I was that awesome. At the end of the week, they moved to an office in a really old building in Madison. I helped with setup while the phones were down. It was VERY hot so I took off my shoes and stockings while I vacuumed. I joked with the head lawyer, "Please don't tell anyone that I'm working with my shoes off!" She said "I think I'll get in more trouble if anyone finds out you're vacuuming and hammering nails."

That lawyer's name? Cynthia Stewart, head defense attorney in the Frank Melton trial. I'm really, really, really glad I didn't accept that job offer. I'd be tearing my hair out right now. I have nothing mean to say about her, she was always nice though always busy and she loved chicken tortilla soup from McAllister's.

I knew I recognized her from somewhere, and I was constantly racking my brain when I saw her on the news. I'm a little slow on the uptake lately.

I had to google him.
Yowza! His antics would be laughable if he hadn't squandered so much money! And what's up with letting young boys live with him? He seems to have some mental issues(to put it mildly).

And I would like to attest that yes, Stacey is that awesome. I worked for one of the companies that would have hired her on the spot! =)
