Target fail.

I've had a rough week. I decided that I'd run to Target and grab a portable DVD player because I've been wanting one for a LONG time, and come home and spend the rest of my evening with Ryan, Marissa, Seth, Summer, and Peter Gallagher's eyebrows.

After much deliberation, I went with the 8-inch Sony model. It had great reviews and a pretty good-looking screen, and the other models all looked kinda cheap and had terrible reviews. I bought it, brought it home, opened the package all excited, and was sorely disappointed.

The DVD player had OBVIOUSLY been used. I'm not talking one or two fingertips that might've been put there by a factory worker... I'm thinking a family took it on vacation then returned it.

Here are some pictures (taken with my phone).

Here's the "brand new" screen:

Here's that obnoxious sticker that electronics manufacturers insist on putting on all their stuff, worn off showing obvious use:

Here's the top:

No scratches there, noooooo.

And here's the battery pack:

Is that a booger? You decide...

So I'm thinking I'll just ignore that for tonight, watch my stories, then return it tomorrow and get a NEW one, like I paid for. Drew goes to turn it on, and the video doesn't work. Sound, no video.

So if y'all will excuse me, I'm gonna go back to Target again and get a new one. DADGUMMIT.
