bad dreams

I finally nodded off around 5:30 this morning. During the hour and a half or so that I slept before Drew woke Ace up and Ace started acting a fool, I had two TERRIBLE dreams.

I'm never going to tell who it was, but the first one was about one of you, my blog readers. I also read your blog. I had a dream that you posted that your child got pneumonia and died. I was absolutely devastated for you, and I woke up crying and checked your blog to make sure the child was okay - everything was fine. So do me a favor. If you read my blog and I read your blog and you have children, give them all big fat hugs for me, because I really, really want to hug that child right now. It's amazing how much I care about all of your children, whether or not I've met them.

The second dream, which was during the first, involved one of my friend's significant others dying. Again, I was devastated. As soon as I woke up, I checked my phone to make sure that my friend hadn't called, and was relieved to see I had no calls, because that meant nothing had happened.

Please pray that whatever sleep I get tonight has no dreams whatsoever. That was pretty much horrible.

oh my gosh! I hope you have better dreams!

I also hope it wasn't about my kid. I have two in a nasty bout of asthma right now, the respiratory fragile preemie one is coughing awfully bad too.

Yikes. I'm going to totally use my stethoscope from here on out this week!

Take that Benadryl and decongestant early! Are you taking Mucinex DM, or are you way past that? Oxygen deprivation can totally give you nightmares - probably just can't breathe when you're sleeping, either. Doesn't that make you feel better ;)?!

I'm so sorry!

Hey, have you ever tried those Breatheright nasal strips? The ones that attach to the outside of your nose? If you haven't, you should. I didn't think I'd like them but it's amazing how much they help your head open up.

Alright, in case it WAS my kid. As soon as I picked him up from school (only went the last half of the day due to resp. probs) and found out he was still coughing like mad I took him straight to the Dr. Have him on the good stuff (steroids) now so hopefully *I'm* in the clear. lol
