There is a movement afoot for Jackson area bloggers to go Christmas caroling at a local nursing home. I think that's super sweet and all, but I don't think any Jackson area bloggers have ever actually heard me sing. Those of you who have heard me sing karaoke, why don't you go ahead and leave a comment warning everyone off. Unless we're singing in the deaf ward at the nursing home. Then I'm all in. I'll sing my little heart out.
Perhaps I should show you pictures from the last time I sang to my son. "Never" by Heart came on the radio, and I just couldn't resist. Here's what happened.
I'd be happy to fill a need for photography, or I'll make hot cocoa (have you HAD my hot cocoa?) but singing? Not good.

I laughed out loud. The pics are priceless.
As for the caroling, I have been known to sing a carol or two around the holidays. We'll see . . . !
Heh. Someone will have to hold the purses....
This might warrant a call to DHS!! Poor Ace looks like he's in pain!! Hahaha
Well you can always just move your lips and let everyone think you are singing, if the crowd is big enough.
That picture is priceless!!!!
Paddy covers his ears and yells no, whenever Todd or I sing.
you never got us kicked off stage on rock band!
What? We should do karaoke some time! LOL
the old folks are probably mostly deaf anyway, just the thought that counts :)
We're also going to make them little happy bags....are you a good hugger? I'm not and sometimes those old people just want someone they can hug on.
Dear God... you people are insane. DO NOT LET THIS WOMAN SING!!!!! Point of fact, I once heard a rumor that she drove a former roommate insane just by singing "Don't Stop Beliving" in the shower. Of course, she may have just gone nuts anyway....
Friends don't let Stacey sing!
you better be there!! i'm getting everything worked out this week. i don't care if you sing. you can mouth "watermelon, watermelon!"
btw, thanks for posting this...
I plan to do the mouthing myself. I don't want somebody's dentures getting flung at my head.
