Diagnosis: Random throat infection, not strep, still highly contagious. Excellent news, considering I fed him some of my egg this morning from the same fork I was eating with.
Treatment: Untreatable by conventional medicine. Ice cream and popsicles for the throat, and acetaminophen and ibuprofen for the fever.
Seeing my little boy with goosebumps all over him and knowing he's got the chills from the fever really hurts my heart inside.
