Some time ago, I posted here that clipping fingernails is by far the most annoying aspect of parenting a small child.
I've changed my mind.
I now believe that pulling dozens of pieces of wet tiny clothing from a washer, being sure not to miss the tiny socks, and throwing them into the dryer, being sure that nothing fell between the washer and dryer, is the most annoying aspect of parenting a small child.

Amen to that. I'm so damn sick of looking for missing baby socks!
Oh my gosh, brushing teeth... It is a twice-a-day fight...
It goes that way for adult socks too. Put seven pair in the washer, found seven unmatched singles in the dryer.
Our socks get caught in the rubber lip thing that seals the door of the dryer! We have to dig around to make sure there are none in there!
