Mistletoe Marketplace opens to the public today, but I gotta wait till tomorrow to go. That's kind of a bummer, but I am soooo stoked.
I got a free ticket in 2005 from a company where I temped, and thought it might be a fun way to spend an afternoon. I had no idea.
For those of you who don't know, this is like the best thing ever for a woman. Sure, men go, but generally they're only going to be pack mules for women. Vendors from all over the country (mostly Mississippi) come to the Trade Mart and hawk their crap. 150 vendors, all packed into this one building, and thousands of women throwing elbows at each other and hundreds of men looking really, really bummed to be there.
I'm practicing my super mean mug all day today. The look that says "She's about to blow, we should let her in front of the herd." I hope I can convince the girl I'm going with to dump the kid at home, but it's not real likely... *sigh*

remember, stop-drop-punch.
have fun!!! :)
How fun! Stand your ground, woman. ;)
If she brings her kids, use them; pinch them the make them squall, which will help part the seas so you can get through.
we will be going on saturday! i love shopping with the girls!
If I had a dollar for each time I said, "'scuse me" this morning, I could have paid for all my totally unnecessary purchases this morning.
Pssst...not related at all to this. But if you're interested, there's a nice thread going on in my Catholic Moms Group about Ron Paul. It's been very enlightening to me. :) E-mail me (sanda8th@yahoo.com) or whatever, and I can e-mail you if you're interested. I'm sure it's nothing you don't already know, though.
Stop by and see us at the MississippiMoms.com booth. Just don't give us the mean mug. LOL
What time are you meeting your friend?
