Okay, cat lovers...

Is there some kind of stool softener for cats or something? Stella's been having a dingleberry problem for quite some time now, and she's been leaving them all over the house. It's pretty gross. Any suggestions?

I think that the vet can give you something called Laxatone. I am not sure if that is the right name, but our vet gave us some kind of paste in a tube that was flavored and the cat considered it a treat. It is for the treatment of hairballs.
Also any kind of leftover meat grease can be drizzled on their dry food. They usually go wild for the bacon grease.

Maybe one of those baggies they hang off the end of horses in some parades? Or you could teach him to wipe! That's the ticket! Get some "Bruce Almighty" going and teach the cat to go to the bathroom the human way.

Mmm, mmm. I loves me some Laxotone. (That's a direct quote from my cat.)

ROFL one of the swiss bloggers had an entire post about his cat getting a laxative, actually a series of posts, it is called "Gatinar".
one of my persians got some nasty dingleberries, but i will take dingleberries any day over brushing/trimming cat's ass hair with diarrhea on it.
