Dadgummit

The more I see Ron Paul, the more I love the guy.

Most of the other candidates are so rehearsed, so insincere. "Governor Huckabee, how do you feel about the teaching of creation in our public schools?" You can just see the process going in his mind... "Search terms... creation... public schools... Insert Response 517a" "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. That's what the Bible says, and that's what I believe. Our public school teachers are hard working, selfless individuals, and should be encouraged to teach what their heart tells them." "Yes, Governor, but I asked how you felt about teaching creation in schools." "Response invalidated... redirect... Insert Response 8m25" "I think it's silly that a candidate for president is being asked this. I'm not going to write the agenda. God created the heavens and the schools. Our public creation is not in the agenda. Bible... God... freedom... America... Ronald Reagan... ERROR ERROR ERROR"

Ron Paul's like "Well, the constitution says," and then he drops some straight up knowledge. What. Either he's a really, really good actor, or he hasn't actually been pre-programmed with canned, predictable responses, and comes out with the stuff that's sincerely on his mind.

Make sure y'all check him out on The Colbert Report on June 13th.
