Mr. Sandman, send me a weird dream

Start dream sequence...

I looked out my front window and saw that a flea market was going on at the end of my street. (Those of you who have seen my street know that it's total suburbia, to say the least, and this is very unlikely.) At least, that's what I assumed it was - I saw tents, food, etc. I got down there and just saw a bunch of raw meat on sale from local farmers. I was excited, because it's very hard to find that at a reasonable price around here. I grabbed a bunch of chicken breasts, a whole chicken, then a ton of beef. I started to pay and saw a girl start to try to pick up Ace, and I turned around and started to go buckwild on her, when I saw that Ace was holding something he shouldn't have been and she was just retrieving it.

I started to walk back home when I saw several people lined up in the middle of the street. I found out that they were going to do a demonstration for gay tolerance. I'm cool with that, and wish I could see it, but I gotta get home with the boy cuz it's naptime, not to mention freezer-time for all the raw meat I'm carting around.

As I'm walking away, I see two people in line for the demonstration that I went to high school with. David, a guy I've talked to a few times since graduation, who I know is gay, and Rory, a guy I think I talked to maybe twice throughout my entire education, who I don't know is gay. Could be, I don't know, don't care. In my dream, he was. He was also wearing a t-shirt from the local natural foods grocery store in Jackson. I talked to them for a few minutes, told them to stop by my house, and went home.

As I'm nearly home, I hear some music start up. I turn around and everyone's lined up. Figuring Ace will go to sleep in his stroller, I run back to the end of my street to catch the demonstration.

After the demonstration, I walk back home, wondering when some counter-protesters will show up. Lo and behold, there are some goth kids walking down my street waving some mean signs. Hoping to avoid them, I walk faster and get to my door and felt something pelt me. I turned around and saw that a girl had thrown a spool of ribbon at me. (????) "Why'd you throw that at me?" "I wasn't throwing. I was sending love, unlike those f*gs." I shook my head and walked inside. Once inside, I saw that several black-clad gay-haters were knocking on my door, and jiggling it trying to shimmy the lock loose. I grabbed Ace and my purse (of course) and ran to where we keep the guns. I cocked my gun on the way down the hall, hoping the kids would hear the click and run away.

And then Ace started crying, and I woke up. He went right back to sleep, but I got up cuz I wanted breakfast, completely forgetting that it's Good Friday. Woops. Oh well, I also wanted to blog about this dream, because I wanted y'all to interpret it. Get to work!
