Amanda's dilated to 2, and she's hella tired and irritated. She said she's having tiny little contractions, but nothing serious yet. Her doctor is increasing her Pitocin drip, so hopefully that'll make her dilate a little faster. The baby's heartbeat would drop every time she was having a contraction last night, so I'm not entirely sure why she wasn't delivered, but I'm sure the doctors know better than I do.
The baby's father is there with her, as well as several members of her mom's side of the family and my dad on and off. (She's my half sister, we share a father.)
I let her go so she could sleep, but I'll call again in a few hours. Thanks for all your prayers. Keep 'em up!
