I'll never understand...

... whitening gum. Surely only the tops of your molars become whitened, but that stuff flies off the shelves. And yes, I buy it too.

... how someone could sing an advertising jingle with as much passion as a love song. Not sure how much passion I could muster for an oil change place, or a staffing agency, or an extermination service. Okay, maybe the extermination service.

... how my son gained 4 ounces in one night. He's up to 4 pounds, 9 ounces now. Crazy. He's gained well over a third of his birth weight.

I sing the Rosenberg's jingle with great enthusiasm. I also sing the theme from "Sanford and Son", even though it has no words. So I suppose to understand why someone would sing a jingle for fun, you just have to assume that they are weird like me.

BTW, How can you not sing that above jingle without enthusiasm. But I do get ya, Stace. He's just a little too, um, passionate in that song. Just a little...

Enthusiasm, I understand. Passion, not so much.

Besides, how can you NOT sing the Rosenberg's song without enthusiasm? But if you were going to sing it as if to a lover, you'd be just as weird.
