I got a new top retainer today, and I'm SO excited about it. The one I was having was killing my lower teeth and I finally said something to my orthodontist about it and he GAVE me a new one. It's like those invisalign braces, making me seriously regret my 2 and a half years in metal.
I think I forgot to tell everyone this, but my new little cousin's got a name - Victor Owen. My uncle said it's because he's the first (and likely last) "Smith" boy, so my uncle is victorious. Everyone who kept the last name Smith had girls. In fact, till now, Cousin Jonathan was the only boy in our generation, biologically speaking, but his last name isn't Smith.
My therapist says that my night terrors are completely normal, though very, very annoying. They actually have a name - hypnagogic hallucinations. Whatever they're called, it's not fun to wake up in the middle of the night literally screaming and running around the room. Imagine being my husband. Last night, I dreamt I was in a haunted house, and I woke up and Drew had a very scary demon face. I had to force myself to wake up, then sleep with the light on. I hate those.
I am loving Natasha Bedingfield and Chris Brown. (Singers, for those of you who aren't "in the know.") I used to love Mariah Carey. In fact, I have her first 4 CDs and could most likely sing every song on every one of them. Now she's just fake all over, and kind of a hoochie. Now I pray that her song won't come on the radio while I'm in the shower because I can't change the channel.
I saw a commercial for the Tyra Banks show on which she asked Pamela Anderson the "shocking question" "Have you ever been insecure about your body?" Um, ya think? That's like asking the pope if he's ever been Catholic.
I need to stop reading about those hallucinations. Now I'll probably experience every single one of the ones I've read about.
I baked approximately 8 million snickerdoodles for my dad for his birthday (just a wee bit late) today and mailed them. Drew got to eat all the ugly ones, eliciting a "Dang, honey, you make really good snickerdoodles." It's true. I really do. Although Lauren's chocolate chip cookies put mine to shame. I almost threw elbows at our Christmas party because I thought someone had stolen my Lauren's chocolate chip cookies. They're that good.
Wow, yawn. I should change the title of this post to "Boring." Other than the part about my new little cousin (of whom I'll post a picture as soon as I get a clothed one), this was a seriously boring post. Sorry, I'm not feeling very exciting lately. Thanks for reading.

Wait, you're baking and not sending anything to me? But I'm sick... cough, cough... I need sugary baked goods STAT!
As for the night terrors, don't those go along with sleep apnea or something? Maybe there's something that can be done. I don't think either you or poor Drew should have to just live with it.
I've been having really weird, sometimes scary, and vivid dreams since they upped my antidepressent. I won't share any details (sounds like you don't need any help coming up with creepy stuff in your head! ha!).
It is getting on my nerves now because I've found myself dreading the process of falling asleep. ugh.
