Note to self from common sense: You know darn good and well that the volume of traffic increases exponentially every 5 minutes on the 20 on weekday mornings. You can not leave downtown Brandon at 7:20 on a weekday morning and expect to make it to Ridgeland by 7:45.
Note to self from jerky driver that took over this morning: Yeah, you can.
From common sense: Don't ever let that jerky driver take over again. You couldn't have hurt anyone, but you could have absolutely, deservedly gotten a ticket this morning.
From jerky driver: Hey, I got you to work on time, didn't I?
From common sense: Barely. And it's not worth a ticket.

Defensive driving is what they teach you in high school. Offensive driving is usually the result. This is why I am giving up my car keys for mass transit. Love ya!
