Because friends don't let Stacey sing.
Fear not! I haven't "summoned a hurricane" in ages, if you know what I mean.
Could the projected track BE any closer to dead-centered on the Coast? Sheesh.
dang! Go on vacation and look at what you people let get into the Gulf! ack!
I hear ya girl...Hotel Hinton has vacancies...guess we'll be cleaning out the tiger room this weekend. 3 charcoal grills ready to go....
Is that any surpise? Whenever a storm enters the gulf through the front door like that, a number of meteorologists immediately say "it's coming straight for us!" No surprise. The truth is that 9.9 times out of ten, when they say it's "coming for us!" so early on, it won't. Heck, Bob Breck said don't worry!Than again, I do start my new job next week... :D
they are saying on the radio that bob brek has been coached not to make a big deal out of this ... people are already panicing... there have even been a few cases of suicide... but it is true... it is too early for everything... panicing, to call the land fall... it is too early for another catastrophy... admittedly, i am leaving early, but that is because i have a child with special needs and a bad back... if those two factors were not in the equation, i would be staying with my mom and brother... yes... they are staying... my mom says that everything that she has is here, and she isn't leaving it... my brother (the ex-con vin diesel look alike) is there to take care of her... so I am not too worried... they have a boat and previsions... so i am calling him my neighborhood rescue man... he will be at ground zero to help those who need it... I lost everything in katrina, and I am pretty good shape today (minus the back)... but, I prepared as much as i could... insurance, contingency plans... if it happens... i can cope cause i know i am a survivor... in the wake of katrina, i was with an abusive domestic partner... but, i have a super man now... this is going to be a cake walk...
