Happy Mardi Gras, y'all!!!

Oh, I wish I wish I wish I could be there. I cannot WAIT to take Ace one day. This is just not the year.

So I'll be celebrating today by going to book club, blogging furiously, doing the laundry, going grocery shopping, and blogging furiously. At least I'm making roast beef po-boys for dinner, which we'll enjoy with some Zapp's chips and king cake. Mmmm.

I got roast beef for lunch! Now I need to find the crawtaters.

Tune in to WWL.com and listen to their broadcast from downtown.

Happy Mardi Gras!

I have friends who have to get imported Zapps in South Carolina. The hubby is from New Orleans so his dad sends them a case every month or two. I ate Zapps for the first time at their house, and by ate I mean scarfed an ENTIRE bag of sea salt and cracked pepper chips all by myself in about two sittings. Couldn't taste anything for the rest of the trip, but it was worth it.

don't tell her that, Mayberry!! She'll get the big head! (or the bigger head since she already admits to having a big head about all her thousand blog hits) :P

So where's all this furious last-minute blogging??? Oh I know... you are currently drafting the end-all, blog-of-all-blogs, literary phenomenon and will drop it on us tonight at midnight...

She did mention laundry and grocery shopping. Not sure what she was thinking there. She's not giving up those for Lent, she can do that tomorrow and blog today! Silly Stacey.
