34-14...

I'd call that Falcon gumbo, ladies and gentlemen. The game had an extraordinarily boring start, but then my boys came back and showed everyone that they do, in fact, have some semblance of a passing game, and a little bit of a running game as well.

Also, points for major classiness go to all of the Falcons players for their undeterred support of their teammate, Michael Vick, who has fallen from grace for the mere crime of KILLING DOGS FOR SPORT HAS EVERYONE LOST THEIR FREAKIN' MIND THE MAN KILLED DOGS BY MAKING THEM FIGHT EACH OTHER TILL THE DEATH JUST FOR GRINS AND GIGGLES. I can't tell you how pleased I was to see the announcers talking with the Falcons' owner for 10 minutes of game time about how Vick will be back and he's very sorry for getting caught this terrible mistake.

(Lots of new flickr pictures, including Fryday, Celebration in the Oaks, Ace's wingman Ignatius, the great spoon experiment, even though they're out of order because Flickr's uploading tool is stupid. Check 'em out.)

the pictures are great! Love the spoon experiment and so glad to be reminded about the deep fried male part...

Loved seeing Stecker crack the 100-yard mark!

Did you see Joe Horn's article in the Atlanta paper yesterday?

Just saw your flickr photos, and now I have a song stuck in my head:

Hubby's still sour over the Steelers losing to the Pats, but I'm secretly cheering for the Saints. Woo-hoo!

I'm OK with saying, "I hope he takes the time to think about life, get his head straight, change his ways, find Jesus, etc." He was their teammate and friend, and I'm sure they genuinely care about him. But...

"Cornerback DeAngelo Hall ran on the field during pregame introductions holding up a Vick poster and had "MV7" painted beneath his eyes. After [wide receiver Roddy] White hauled in a 33-yard touchdown pass that briefly tied the game at 7, he pulled up his jersey to reveal a T-shirt with the handwritten message 'Free Mike Vick.'

Hall and White are both likely to be fined by the NFL...."

And rightfully so. Scumbags.

Did you happen to see the Packers actually pull off another win this week?! We still can't believe our eyes. I'm used to my husband and fil cussing and yelling all day on sundays, but this year it's just one big party. I'll enjoy it while it lasts! LOL!
