Becca, who is everyone's friend, has inspired me to do something random tonight. I'm gonna be super tuckered out, but what the heck. She does it all the time, and she's young and vibrant, so darnit, so can I. Plus, Drew lets me sleep in on Saturdays.
Becca lives in New York City and hits every event she possibly can. She does something every night, and usually takes pictures, then posts them on her flickr page and on her myspace blog. Tonight, her lucky butt is going to see my favorite artist in the world, Steven Delopoulos, live in concert. Hmph, lucky. She will most likely take pictures, some for my benefit, but mostly because that's what she does.
For some weird reason, my local Kroger is hosting a Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows release party. I'm not a fan; I tried to read the first book and got bored, and tried to watch the first movie but fell asleep. Since my shiny new camera has yet to see much other than my baby's beautiful face, I'd like to try it out on a large group of people who are super excited about the latest Harry Potter release. I've gotten permission from the event's planner. The party, which promises to be the Brandon, Mississippi social event of the season, will last from 9 till 1. I reckon I'll roll outta here around 11 and catch the midnight release, and be at home in bed by 1.
Granted, it's not a Zombie Flash Mob or a Renegade parade, but I don't reckon Jackson will be hosting either anytime soon.
I love photography, I've just never gotten into it. I reckon tonight will showcase what, if any, natural ability for photography I have.
