This guy's running for local office.
I will vote for him, just because of his awesome hair, and the fact that his face seems to say "What? You want to vote for... ME?" I find a touch of humility endearing in politicians.
Or, it says "I burped."
(Actually, I probably won't vote for him. On the back of his flier, he has this giant list of things that make him a super-great Christian. I don't know about y'all, but I tend to not like when people use our Lord and Savior as a marketing tool. *shrug* Pet peeve, I guess.)

Is that Andy Stewart? I'm refusing to vote for him because of his bad grammar. His tagline is "Christian. Family. Lawyer.", and it bugs me every time I drive by his giant billboard.
My current election policy is that I'm voting against anyone who comes up my walk, rings my doorbell, agitates my dogs, and wakes my babies, just to hand me a stupid flyer. I'm also voting against the guy who scotch-taped a flyer to my mailbox one scorching-hot afternoon, which now has a scotch-tape-glue mark on the copper. In fact, I'm considering giving money to their opponents.
I know it sounds awfully shallow, compared to an in-depth analysis of their positions on issues, but I do think there's some merit in it. Not being an a-hole is a useful quality in a politician, and sometimes a more persistent one than any given political stance. If I have to clean up their mess around my house, what other, larger, messes might I have to deal with?
It is Andy Stewart. Have you seen the flier? It's a self-important riot. I think Drew would vote against him because he was all sweaty and insisted on shaking Drew's hand when he came to our door.
Actually, I completely flounder when it comes to local elections. There are so darn many people to vote for, and for completely obscure positions (chancery court clerk, anyone? Coroner??) that there's no way I could make an educated decision as to whom I should vote for.
I totally agree with emma b. Totally.
And Stacey I am so with you on the local, seemingly obscure positions that require a vote. I'm a staunch supporter of voting. I vote in every election no matter how small. But when these very localized lame positions, it's usually those 'shallow' reasons prompting my vote.
I dunno. The photo sort of says to me one word. Botox.
The photo says "Did somebody just take my picture?" I am laughing my ass off! That's the funniest political photo I've seen in a long time and BELIEVE ME, I usually have to go no further than our local paper for a laugh!
On another note, your Ben and Jerry's suggestion I will have to check out - I personally LOVE their Half Baked - Choc. Chip Cookie Dough and Brownie combo. It's all I ate while I was on maternity leave.
