I walked in to wake Ace up from his nap this afternoon because he needed to eat lunch before the physical therapist came. I looked into his crib, and someone had taken my teeny tiny baby and put a giant child in there. Can someone tell me when this happened?
I told someone yesterday that he'd be a year old in a week and a half, and had to keep myself from crying for a second. There was a time that I didn't even think he'd make it through the night.
He stayed in the church nursery last night during Bible study. It wasn't too bad, they're taking my righteous paranoia into account and taking extra precautions with him. I also brought him grocery shopping yesterday, and put him right into the cart. I had to put a towel around him so he wouldn't fall over, but boy, using an actual cart has never felt so freeing.
Sigh. I love this child.

He does look big! Grown up! I was so emotional when Aidan turned one. My dh didn't quite get it. I was happy, of course, but cried that day, too. It's hard!
I like the crib picture. My kids seem to not like cribs, so I'm always amazed to see others sleeping in them. lol. I'm working on it, though.
Is that just a towel in the shopping cart? Or a floppy? I was so happy when we finally got a floppy. Either way, he looks mighty comfy in there!
Sharon - it's both. The floppy's underneath him, and there's a towel behind him propping him up. No WAY I'd just plop him in a grocery cart... any more than I'd throw him in a garbage can. YUCK!!! :)
it is not so much he is big as it is he is tall...but he was always tall...
