The next time there's a national tragedy such as this, I'm going to make a bingo card full of things public figures say to express their grief. On the board will be:
"Saddened"
"My thoughts and prayers go out to..."
"Shocked"
Every single politician says at least one of those things in their "official statements." They just ooze with insincerity and I kinda hate them. Just once, I'd like to see a public figure or politician say something like "You know what? This really @#$&@ sucks. The guy that did this was a putz and I'd like to get my hands on him." Or "(Name of destructive weather anomaly) can go to you-know-where."
I skip diplomacy and sadness and head right to anger when stuff like this happens. Character flaw? Maybe. But I'm sincere.

That's one thing I love about you-I can tell you are what I like to call 'brutally honest-tell the truth and MAKE it hurt!" I've never met you, but have it on good source that we would get along super..LOL
I would love to kill the SOB myself. My 8 year old daughter came in the night it happened and asked me if that would ever happen to her. I told her to pray.
