My baby's coming home tomorrow!!!
Barring anything bad happening (such as an apnea), he's coming home tomorrow. Getting his last round of 2 month vaccinations and his circumcision today, after which I will snuggle him until he forgets his pain. Drew and I are going to learn about his apnea monitor, which he'll have to keep on for a few months, at 3 this afternoon. We will be sleeping in a hospital room tonight with our baby by our side. Tomorrow morning, he will get checked by the NICU one more time, and then he will be discharged. We will put him in his car seat and drive him home.
And then I'll be raisin' me a young'n. Whoa.

yahoooo!!! congratulations.
word of warning about the apnea monitor.. it goes off frequently when there is absolutely nothing wrong. pay attn to ace first. by the end of the time he needs the monitor you will want to smash it with a sledge hammer. seriously.
Hoo de hoo! Can the fellas bring pizza and beer and Star Trek DVD's? We've got to set him off on the good foot.
CONGRATS!!!!
How thrilling. Way to go, Ace.
To brou hahhah:
What kind of beer? And Ace prefers Star Wars.
Well, fine Star Wars it is. As far as beer, high-end domestic or any improt bu the Heiney. We can tell him about the qualities of good beer.
Can I just say that it makes my heart cry that I will not be there to welcome the young'un, and also to not participate in the beer and pizza party....next time we come down, I'll smuggle some good microbrew for y'all. Go Ace!
How wonderful! I'm so happy for you.
See y'all in two weeks!!
God, I can't wait to see him! I told you Ace was just waiting for me to get time off to visit before he went back home!
And how about Guiness, Drew? I know you's love the Guiness, and I wouldn't be surprised if the 4th in line does to... :D
XOXOXO
Oh, yea, I comlpetely forgot to ask. What happened to your feline family? I can't imagine you keeping them with an adorable premie at home. And I hope you didn't kill Nimbus...he is NOT a form of Satan, no matter what you think.
Smooches.
Yaaayyy! Congrats, and welcome home, Ace!
I know you probably want to be all alone time and parental and stuff, which means it is a good thing because I would so come over and cook and Stacey would have to tell me to stop smelling her baby. I LOVE clean baby smell.
Poor Ace's toes.
