I have this problem with my arms that I think many women of a plus-sized stature have. It's groupings of little red bumps that are impervious to exfoliation. I read somewhere that exfoliation actually makes the problem worse and to use something with alpha hydroxy instead. Does anyone know of a good alpha hydroxy cream that I can use? I've been using a foot scrub with plum and pumice stone and alpha hydroxy in it, but if exfoliation isn't helping, I don't want to use it, obviously.
Also, I have a recommendation for you. Yahoo's music site, Launch, has an all 90's radio station that is AWESOME. Fastball, The Cranberries, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, you know you love it. I'm not hating on 80's nostalgia, but it's kinda played out and we need to move on, okay?
One of the greatest things about Launch is that you can create your own station and they will stream the music that you pick and similar picks from the genres you like. You can also create "mood lists" and listen to the music that corresponds to the mood you're in. ALSO, they have this great feature that when you're listening to any station, you can rate a song "never play again" and they'll do just that - never play it again on any station you're listening to! I'm a big fan.

Totally feelin' ya, cuz. I've had the arm problem since I started puberty, like 9 years ago. I've tried a million things, but I've yet to find a solution. I usually just moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. I find a lot of sun exposure helps, as well.
I love love love Launchcast! I listen to it all day at work. The only bad thing is that my productivity goes down b/c I'm rating songs all day. That and the time when the Lil Kim came on. I've never hit "Never Play Again" so quickly.

possibly try the new dove deodrant. I didn't think it would work but I seem to have very few issues (wetness, dryness, bumps, etc.)

I have the answer you've been waiting for. ;) Fantastic grammar, yes? Anyway, you know I'm a Cosmo junky, right? Right. Well, in their "Ask the Doctor" column many women have this same trouble. Alas, some ladies are complaining of this problem on their butts. The "Dr." said to use an acne medicine that would be left on your skin over an extended period of time. I.E. Facial cleansing wipes with the correct medicine in them. Obviously, one with a drying effect on your skin. Another thought - back from the wicked poison ivy days - is oatmeal soap by Aveeno. To use: lather on the problem areas and let it dry. Then go wash it off. This helped me through a alot of misery with the poison. For some reason, it dries it up. P.S. This only worked with Aveeno oatmeal soap, not just any oatmeal soap. Kisses.
